Pin Bhaba Pass Trek connects the desolate, chilly, and dry Pin Valley in Spiti with the lush, dynamic Bhaba Valley in Kinnaur. It is a highaltitude trek that takes you through picturesque valleys, dense forests, gushing rivers, and high mountain passes. The trek is moderately difficult, and trekkers typically complete it in around 6 days.
The Pin Bhaba trek begins in the quaint little Himalayan village of Kafnu (2,400 metres) in the Kinnaur Valley, climbs to a height of 4,915 metres, and then descends the other side to a small village in Spiti called Mudh (3,810 metres). The route passes through some of the most remote and off-beat areas of the region, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges.
The trek involves crossing the Pin Bhaba Pass, which stands at an altitude of 16,105 feet, and requires a high level of fitness and endurance. The pass sits at the junction of two valleys – Pin and Bhabha – and provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
